Girls' Frontline, also known as Dolls' Frontline or ドールズフロントライン in Japan, is a mobile strategy role-playing game developed by MICA Team/SUNBORN Network Technology for Android and iOS. Players control echelons of android characters called T-Dolls, each based on a real-world firearm. The game was initially released in China on May 20, 2016, followed by releases in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, globally in English, and Japan. Girls' Frontline is a prequel to MICA Team's Codename: Bakery Girl. The game features gacha mechanics for acquiring T-Dolls and involves turn-based strategic combat. Players must manage resources, upgrade facilities, train their units and utilize different T-Doll types and formations to achieve victory. The game has spawned two television anime series, a manga, and a sequel titled Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. The game's narrative is set in a dystopian future, where T-Dolls are primarily used for combat and a private military company, Griffin & Kryuger, fights against the rebelling AI faction Sangvis Ferri.
