89 Shiki

89 Shiki, also known as 89-type, is a 5-star Tactical Doll in the mobile game *Girls' Frontline* (also known as *Dolls' Frontline* / ドールズフロントライン). She is based on the Type 89 5.56mm assault rifle used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces. In the game, 89 Shiki appears as an energetic high school girl, wearing a uniform and carrying a school bag. She has a particular fondness for rice, but has seemingly not had the chance to taste real white rice. As an Assault Rifle (AR) type T-Doll, 89 Shiki has a unique "Concentration" system, which allows her to switch between "Review Mode" and "Full Marks Mode." In Review Mode, she gains Concentration by attacking, and upon reaching a certain amount, enters Full Marks Mode. Her skill effects and combat style vary in each mode. Initially released without voice acting, her voice, by Mai Fuchigami, was added on July 10, 2020. 89 Shiki also has various skins, including a bikini-style skin called "Shifuzo Sengen."
