MAT-49 is a character from the game "Girls' Frontline" (also known as "Dolls' Frontline" in Japan), a Tactical Doll designed based on the French MAT-49 submachine gun. She possesses a strong chivalrous spirit and believes she is destined to protect the Commander, making it her mission. MAT-49 has a somewhat stubborn personality, sticking to her beliefs and often expressing excessive concern for the Commander's safety. A distinctive feature is the "bad luck deflector" in the middle of her bangs, which is said to affect her luck and cause misfortune if knocked off. In combat, as a submachine gun T-Doll, MAT-49 excels at providing fire support to the team and possesses a formation effect as an auxiliary tank. Her skills and formation can effectively boost the firepower of assault rifles. Players can obtain her through drops in specific maps, specifically Recce Centre units in map 12-6 and Scout and Prowler (SWAP) units in map 12-4E. MAT-49 also has multiple costumes available through in-game stores, dorm gachas, and other methods, with some supporting Live2D animations.
