PPD-40 is a tactical doll character in the mobile game Girls' Frontline (also known as Dolls Frontline), based on the Soviet PPD-40 submachine gun from World War II. She is positioned as a fire support role in the game, possessing high evasion capabilities and skills that provide firepower boosts to her teammates. PPD-40's in-game appearance is that of a refined and luxurious blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman who dislikes rough and cheap items. She has a strict attitude towards work but secretly shows affection for her sisters, PPSh-41 and PPS-43. She is often seen going out with FAL and adopts a meticulous approach to her missions. PPD-40's skill, "Firepower Accord," can boost her own firepower and accuracy as well as that of her teammates in the same column, while her active skill can enhance the firepower of the entire team. Her design is inspired by a 1943 photo of a soldier charging during the siege of Leningrad holding a PPD-40, showcasing a strong historical background.
