Type88

The Hanyang Type 88 is a tactical doll in the game 'Girls' Frontline', based on the Chinese-made Hanyang 88 rifle. This rifle holds historical significance in modern Chinese history, having served through numerous revolutions and wars. In the game, Hanyang Type 88 is designed as a cafe maid who refers to the commander as 'Master'. She generally appears polite and gentle, though with a somewhat vulnerable side. Notably, her design is based on 'Ai', the mascot of the doujin event 'ComiAi', making her arguably the first collaboration character in the game. Hanyang Type 88 can be obtained through normal production. Her skills are enhanced during night battles, and her MOD3 form grants her powerful area of effect attacks. Her lines and backstory revolve around cafe and maid themes, while also retaining the memories of a weapon that has seen historical wars.
