Zas M76

Zas M76 is a character in the game *Girls' Frontline* (ドールズフロントライン). She is known for her kind and gentle appearance, but is sometimes mistaken for being irascible due to her frank way of speaking. Zas M76 unilaterally considers RF SVD as her rival and attempts to surpass her in every aspect. In the game, Zas M76 is a rate-of-fire damage dealer whose skill increases her own rate of fire. Although her firepower value is low, it can be compensated by the formation buffs or skills of other characters. It is usually recommended to train her as a transitional character before obtaining stronger characters like SVD or WA2000. Zas M76 is based on the Zastava M76 semi-automatic sniper/designated marksman rifle developed and manufactured by Zastava Arms. The rifle was released in the mid-1970s and became the standard-issue designated marksman rifle of the Serbian army and its predecessor, the Yugoslav National Army (JNA). The M76 was designed to fulfill the same role as the Soviet Dragunov SVD, providing designated marksman capability to the infantry platoon. During the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s, the M76 was used by several sides, seeing action in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo. In Serbian service, the M76 is reportedly being replaced by the Zastava M91.
