The PzB 39, short for Panzerbüchse 39, was a portable, lightweight anti-tank rifle that served the Third Reich during World War II. Designed by engineer B. Brauer of Gustloff Werke, it was a successor to the PzB 38. The PzB 39 is a falling-block action single-shot rifle chambered for the 7.92x94mm Patronen cartridge, capable of a muzzle velocity of 1210 m/s and an effective range of 300 meters. Its design and operation were similar to the PzB 38, with a recoiling barrel exposing the breech, ejecting spent shells, and a breech block that remains open for new cartridge insertion. A small number of PzB 39s were produced and saw action early in the war, followed by mass production until November 1941, totaling 39,232 units. These rifles were mainly issued to Panzergrenadiers of German Panzer divisions, serving until 1944. It was eventually replaced by cheaper and more effective alternatives like the Panzerfaust and Panzerschreck due to its struggles against heavier Soviet armor. In the game *Girls' Frontline*, the PzB 39 is personified as a tall and slim T-Doll with long straight black hair and red pupils. She is confident, unbothered by trivial matters, and highly values her clothing. She is depicted as a formally dressed character with a somewhat masculine handsomeness, and is also part of the motorbike squad, 'Princes' Frontline'.
