Nara Shikamaru

Shikamaru Nara (奈良シカマル, Nara Shikamaru) is a fictional character in the manga and anime series *Naruto*, created by Masashi Kishimoto. He is a shinobi of Konohagakure and a member of the Nara clan. Shikamaru is known for his exceptional intelligence and strategic abilities, despite his naturally lazy disposition and frequent complaints of “how troublesome.” He is a member of Team 10, alongside Choji Akimichi and Ino Yamanaka, led by Asuma Sarutobi. Shikamaru excels in using the Nara clan's secret techniques, such as Shadow Imitation Technique, which allows him to bind and control his opponents with his shadow. Despite his laziness, Shikamaru is fiercely loyal to his friends and gradually takes on the responsibility of protecting his comrades and the village. He served as chief aide to the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, and temporarily became the Eighth Hokage when Naruto disappeared. Shikamaru's growth and transformation, from a youth who avoids responsibility to a reliable leader who fights to protect his loved ones, have made him a beloved character in *Naruto*. He is married to Temari, and they have a son named Shikadai Nara.
