Yakushi Nonou

Yakushi Nonou, also known as Yakushi Nono, is a character in the manga series *Naruto* created by Japanese manga artist Masashi Kishimoto. She is the director of the orphanage “Root” and the foster mother of Yakushi Kabuto. Nonou possesses powerful medical ninjutsu and is known as the “Walking Shrine Maiden,” renowned for her exceptional healing abilities on the battlefield. She was ordered to treat the wounded in the war while also engaging in espionage, striving to protect war orphans. Although she appears cold and ruthless on the surface, she is a compassionate woman at heart, deeply caring for the children. However, during a mission, Nonou was ambushed and killed by Shimura Danzo while protecting the children.
