Might Duy (マイト・ダイ) is a character from the anime "Naruto," and the father of Might Guy, one of the protagonists. He is known as a "perpetual genin" in Konohagakure (the Hidden Leaf Village) due to his lack of talent in ninjutsu and genjutsu. Despite this, Duy is an enthusiastic hard worker, focused on mastering taijutsu, and ultimately masters the powerful forbidden technique, the Eight Gates. He passes this technique down to his son, Guy, to protect those he holds dear. Might Duy's defining moment is when, facing the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, he opens the final gate of the Eight Gates to protect his son and teammates, defeating four of them. Though he dies from exhaustion, his courage and self-sacrifice deeply impact Guy. Might Duy's catchphrase is "youth," and he encourages his son to never give up, persisting even when facing difficulties. Although he doesn't have many appearances in the story, his unwavering will and love for his family make him a memorable character in "Naruto."
