Kagami Uchiha (うちはカガミ, Uchiha Kagami) was a shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village (Konohagakure) from the Land of Fire and a member of the Uchiha clan. He was part of the escort team led by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, alongside Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzō Shimura, Koharu Utatane, and Homura Mitokado. In the anime, Kagami was among the first students to enter and graduate from the Academy. He became friends with Danzō and Hiruzen, saving Danzō’s life many times with his dōjutsu. During the First Shinobi World War, Kagami accompanied the Second Hokage on missions. When pursued and surrounded by Kumo’s Kinkaku Brigade, Kagami pointed out that Koharu’s ambush plan wouldn’t work and a diversion was needed. He then witnessed the Second Hokage volunteering as bait and naming Hiruzen as the Third Hokage. Kagami died at the age of 25, having had children. His descendant, Shisui Uchiha, inherited his will of fire rather than the Uchiha's curse of hatred. Kagami was known for his loyalty to his clan and dedication to protecting Konoha, never falling into the cycle of hatred despite awakening the Sharingan. He was one of the few Uchiha trusted by Tobirama. His combat skills were acknowledged by Danzō and Shisui, with the latter even admitting to being inferior as a shinobi compared to his ancestor Kagami.
