Ono initially belonged to the Sunaoka Office of the Himawari Theatre Group, later joining Animo Produce in 2012. He is also actively involved in various forms of performance, including television dramas, films, stage plays, and anime voice acting. He married voice actress Kana Hanazawa in 2020. In "Naruto," Ono voices the character “Shin,” a remnant of the Uchiha clan in the original work who seeks to revive Itachi Uchiha and engages in battles with the protagonists.
