Kurotsuchi

Kurotsuchi (黒ツチ) is a kunoichi of Iwagakure, the granddaughter of the Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki, and the great-great granddaughter of the First Tsuchikage through her grandfather. After the retirement of her grandfather, she would later follow their endowment by taking on the mantle as the Fourth Tsuchikage. In the anime, a young Kurotsuchi witnessed Deidara flee from Iwagakure after bombing the surrounding buildings shortly after becoming a ninja. Kurotsuchi is generally calm and easy-going, and she has displayed a powerful loyalty to her village. She was more interested in killing the jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails than protecting them, believing this was the best plan for Iwagakure to become stronger. Like her grandfather, she is very audacious, often sarcastically suggesting he should be replaced due to his back pain. Kurotsuchi has great confidence in her skills, demonstrated when she battled and captured Kabuto. This ultimately led to her recognition as the Fourth Tsuchikage. She is capable of using Earth, Fire, and Water Release nature transformations. By combining earth and fire, she uses Lava Release.
