Scarlett

Scarlett (スカーレット, Sukāretto) is a character in the Japanese manga series *One Piece*. She was a princess of the Dressrosa Kingdom, the daughter of King Riku, Viola's elder sister, and Rebecca's mother. Scarlett was once the crown princess of Dressrosa but faked her death to marry Kyros, the captain of the Riku Royal Army. She lived a happy life with Kyros and their daughter Rebecca in a flower field far from the kingdom. However, after the Donquixote Pirates invaded Dressrosa, Scarlett was shot and killed by Diamante in town while trying to get food for Rebecca. Her death deeply impacted Rebecca, causing her to become stubborn and deny her hunger. Scarlett was a kind and loving character whose death became an important tragic element in the Dressrosa arc. There is also a trading card of her in the *One Piece* card game.
