Brannew

Brannew is a Marine commodore in One Piece, stationed at Marine Headquarters, responsible for assigning bounties to criminals. He was first introduced as a lieutenant commander during the Loguetown Arc, but was promoted to commodore after the timeskip. Brannew is a tall, tanned man with dark-green curly hair, upwards-pointing sideburns, large lips, and eyes always obscured by sunglasses. He sports a blue and white striped open-collared shirt, pink suit pants, and a pair of shoes. Brannew has a strong belief in justice and eradicating evil. He proposed a bounty of 30 million Berries for Monkey D. Luffy's first bounty, believing it was necessary to eliminate evil before it grew stronger. At Marine Headquarters, he is usually seen leading meetings, briefing senior officers, and takes his work seriously. He participated in the Battle of Marineford and survived. Post-war, he reported to Sengoku about the state of Impel Down and expressed anger at Luffy's reappearance. Brannew also participated in meetings concerning the Seven Warlords and the Four Emperors, showing concern about the changing global situation.
