Kikunojo

Kikunojo, also known as Kikunojo of the Lingering Snow or O-Kiku, is a samurai from the Land of Wano in the anime and manga series *One Piece*. She is a retainer of the Kozuki family and a member of the Akazaya Nine, the group of loyal samurai who served Kozuki Oden. After being sent 20 years into the future by Kozuki Toki, she worked as a tea house poster girl in Okobore Town, secretly preparing for the rebellion against Kaido. She became an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates when they arrived in Wano, joining them in their fight against the Beast Pirates. Kikunojo is a highly skilled swordswoman, proficient in iaijutsu, and possesses strong Armament Haki. She is determined and brave, with a gentle demeanor that belies her willingness to fight fiercely to protect her friends. Kikunojo identifies as “a woman at heart” but uses the ancient samurai pronoun “sessha,” which has led to fan discussions about her gender identity. Regardless, she is treated and identifies as female within the story. She lost her left arm during the battle against Kaido, but continued to fight nonetheless.
