Yamato

Yamato, also known as the Oni Princess, is a major character in the Japanese manga series One Piece. She is the daughter (self-proclaimed son) of Kaido, one of the Four Emperors. Yamato idolizes the legendary samurai Kozuki Oden and declares herself to be Oden. She harbors a deep hatred for her father, Kaido, and allies with the Straw Hat Pirates to fight against him. Yamato possesses formidable combat abilities, being a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit user of the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi-no-Makami, which allows her to transform into a divine wolf and wield ice powers. She can use all three forms of Haki: Conqueror's, Armament, and Observation. Yamato had encounters with Ace, who left a significant impact on her, and later met Luffy, with whom she hopes to join the Straw Hat Pirates. Although she initially desires to sail, Yamato ultimately chooses to stay in Wano to protect it, though she still intends to join the Straw Hat crew in the future. Yamato's gender identity is complex; while biologically female, she refers to herself as 'Kaido's son' and wishes to be a man like Oden, sparking much debate among fans.
