Vander Decken IX

Vander Decken IX is a character from the anime series *One Piece*. He is the captain of the Flying Pirates and the eighth descendant of the original Vander Decken of legend. He is a Japanese bullhead shark fish-man and one of the main antagonists of the Fish-Man Island Arc. Decken is a tall, beige-skinned individual with four legs, a short goatee, a long, wavy mustache, and similar black hair. He has a morbid obsession with Princess Shirahoshi and goes to great lengths to pursue her. He possesses the power of the 'Mato Mato no Mi' (Target-Target Fruit), which allows him to lock onto targets with thrown objects. He allied with Hody Jones in an attempt to overthrow the Ryugu Kingdom. In the storyline, he is enraged by Shirahoshi's rejection of his proposal and tries to destroy Fish-Man Island with the Noah ark, ultimately leading to his defeat and imprisonment.
