Ryuboshi

Ryuboshi is a character in the anime and manga series *One Piece*. He is the second son of the Neptune royal family of Fish-Man Island, an oarfish merman characterized by his tall, slender frame, wide eyes, long wavy dark pink hair, and beaver-like teeth. He's the only prince to wear a clothed upper body, donning a fancy robelike garment with puffed sleeves. He carries two swords secured by an orange sash on his back. Ryuboshi is jovial and upbeat, often ending his sentences with a musical scale, like “so-la-ti-do.” He enjoys dancing with his younger brother Manboshi, often to cheer up their sister Shirahoshi. However, he becomes serious when necessary, such as when facing the New Fish-Man Pirates. As a prince, Ryuboshi holds royal authority over Fish-Man Island and, along with his brothers Fukaboshi and Manboshi, is one of the strongest warriors in the Neptune Army. A skilled swordsman, he and his brothers have defeated giant, drug-enhanced sea monsters. In his past, Ryuboshi helped care for his sister Shirahoshi, and witnessed the death of their mother, Otohime, spurring him to protect his sister.
