Chew

Chew (チュウ), also known as Chuu, is a character from One Piece and an officer of the Arlong Pirates, a fish-man supremacist. He is a smelt-whiting fish-man with blue skin and thick lips. Chew is known for his cool-headed but cruel personality, harboring a strong disdain for humans. His primary attack method involves using his fish-man abilities to shoot high-pressure water jets from his mouth, known as “Water Cannon.” Chew was formerly a member of the Sun Pirates before joining Arlong’s crew. During the Cocoyasi Village incident, he engaged in a fierce battle with Usopp of the Straw Hat Pirates, ultimately being cleverly defeated by him. Despite being an officer of the Arlong Pirates, Chew's strength is not particularly overwhelming when faced with the Straw Hats. He relies mainly on long-range attacks, and he appears vulnerable in close combat. Although a villain, Chew’s character also reflects the complexity and diversity of the fish-man race in the One Piece world.
