Atmos

Atmos, also known as "Water Buffalo" Atmos, is the former 13th division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates in the manga and anime series *One Piece*. He is a massive man, comparable in size to Jozu, and wears sleeveless gray and gold armor along with an old-fashioned Asian-themed helmet with bull horns, hence his nickname. He has long, black, mane-like hair and a similarly long beard, along with two squared, upward-pointing teeth resembling walrus tusks. He bears a tattoo of Whitebeard's Jolly Roger on each arm. Atmos is fiercely loyal to Whitebeard, willing to risk his life to save Ace. He deeply cares for his crew and captain, displaying great grief at the deaths of both Ace and Whitebeard. He is rather bold, confronting Donquixote Doflamingo alone, but quickly recognizes when he's outmatched. Atmos is a veteran pirate, having been a member of the Whitebeard Pirates since the era of Gol D. Roger. He wields two large swords with devastating force. During the Marineford War, he was briefly controlled by Doflamingo, forcing him to attack his own crewmates.
