Ben Beckman

Benn Beckman is a prominent character in One Piece, serving as the first mate of the Red Hair Pirates and Shanks' most trusted companion. Known for his calm demeanor and exceptional intellect, Beckman acts as the brains of the crew. He stands at 206cm tall, with distinctive features including gray, slicked-back hair, an X-shaped scar on his left temple, and a perpetual cigarette in his mouth. Beckman is not only a formidable fighter, proficient in Armament Haki, which he can imbue into his rifle bullets to threaten Devil Fruit users, but is also considered the most intelligent character in the East Blue saga. He usually wields his flintlock rifle, though rarely firing it, more often using it as a club or a threat. He notably halted Admiral Kizaru's attack at Marineford simply by pointing his gun. Beckman is an indispensable member of the Red Hair Pirates, providing a solid support with his intellect, strength, and composed personality.
