Laffitte

Laffitte, also known as "Demon Sheriff," is a character in the Japanese manga series *One Piece*. He serves as the navigator and chief of staff of the Blackbeard Pirates, and is also the captain of their fifth ship. Formerly a police officer in the West Blue, he was exiled due to his brutal behavior. Laffitte is known for his refined manners and charming smile, but he is actually a ruthless and cruel individual. He is a master of stealth, having infiltrated important locations such as Marineford and Mary Geoise unnoticed. Laffitte possesses the ability to fly, likely due to an unnamed Devil Fruit, and is also capable of hypnosis. In recent manga chapters, he is tasked with monitoring the Revolutionary Army. Laffitte is an enigmatic character, and a formidable force within the Blackbeard Pirates.
