Smoker

Smoker, also known as "White Chase" Smoker, is a Marine officer in the One Piece series, and a cigar enthusiast, always seen smoking two cigars at once and carrying many more. He is often assisted by his subordinate, Tashigi. Years before the story, he joined the World Government Marines around the same time as Hina. He was first introduced as a Marine captain stationed in Loguetown, the town where Gol D. Roger was born and executed. Smoker was feared by some of the town's civilians, but he cared deeply for them. He attempted to capture Luffy in Loguetown, but was stopped by Monkey D. Dragon. From that point on, he began to pursue Luffy. He was promoted to Commodore due to the events in Alabasta, where he initially was an antagonist but later became an ally. During the Marineford War, he tried to stop Luffy but was defeated by Boa Hancock. After the timeskip, he was promoted to Vice Admiral and stationed at the G-5 base in the New World. Smoker possesses the power of the Moku Moku no Mi, which allows him to turn into smoke, and his weapon is a Seastone-tipped jitte, which can nullify Devil Fruit powers.
