Bellemere

Bell-mère is a significant supporting character in One Piece, first appearing in a flashback during the Arlong Park arc. She was a former Marine who adopted Nami and Nojiko, becoming their adoptive mother. Bell-mère is characterized by her distinctive fuchsia mohawk hairstyle and her strong yet kind personality. She was willing to sacrifice her life to protect her daughters, facing the threat of the pirate Arlong, choosing death rather than deny her role as a mother. Bell-mère's sacrifice had a profound impact on Nami, motivating her to move forward. She was not only a loving mother but also a courageous and responsible woman. Her touching story, which is very popular among One Piece fans, is one of the most respected mother figures in anime.
