The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Japanese: 斉木楠雄のΨ難, Saiki Kusuo no Sai-nan) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shūichi Asō. The story centers around Kusuo Saiki, a high school student who possesses a wide array of psychic abilities, including telepathy, psychokinesis, and teleportation. Despite having these powers, Kusuo longs for a normal, ordinary life and tries his best to conceal his abilities to avoid unwanted attention. However, his attempts are constantly thwarted by the eccentric characters surrounding him. The series humorously portrays Kusuo's daily life, as he navigates through various challenges using his psychic powers. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2012 to 2018 and has been adapted into an anime series, live-action film, and video games. The 2016 TV anime series was produced by J.C.Staff, with multiple sequels, including The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.: Reawakened on Netflix.
