"WorldEnd: What Do You Do at the End of the World? Are You Busy? Will You Save Us?" (Japanese: 終末なにしてますか?忙しいですか?救ってもらっていいですか?, also known as SukaSuka) is a Japanese light novel series written by Akira Kareno and illustrated by Ue. The story is set 500 years after humanity's near extinction by mysterious creatures known as "Beasts." The surviving races reside on floating islands in the sky, and only a group of young girls called "Leprechauns" can wield ancient weapons to fight against these Beasts. The protagonist, Willem Kmetsch, is a human who awakens from a long slumber and becomes a caretaker for these girls. The narrative revolves around Willem's interactions with the Leprechaun girls, as they gradually come to understand the meaning of family and what is truly worth protecting. The light novel series was published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko from 2014 to 2016, spanning five volumes. It was followed by a sequel, "What Do You Do at the End of the World? May I Meet You, Once Again?" and has also been adapted into manga and anime. The anime, co-produced by Satelight and C2C, aired in 2017 for 12 episodes.
