Asobi Asobase: Workshop of Fun is a Japanese anime television series that aired in 2018, adapted from the manga of the same name by Rin Suzukawa. The story revolves around three middle school girls with vastly different personalities: Olivia, a blonde, blue-eyed transfer student who claims to be fluent in English but actually doesn't understand a word; Kasumi Nomura, a gloomy, bespectacled girl; and Hanako Honda, a cheerful and energetic girl. They engage in various silly games during recess, leading to a series of comical and absurd situations. Initially, Kasumi is uninterested in these games, but eventually gets drawn in, displaying her unique brand of mischief. Afterward, the three decide to form the "Pastime Club" to continue their daily antics.
