BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆PICO is a Japanese chibi short anime series by Bushiroad, animated by Sanzigen in collaboration with DMM.futureworks. It's a spin-off of the main BanG Dream! series, featuring characters from the mobile game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!. The show has three seasons: BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico (2018), BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico: Ohmori (2020), and BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico Fever! (2021–2022). Known for its chibi art style, exaggerated comedic style, and nonsensical plots, each episode is approximately three minutes long. The anime is set in CiRCLE, the hidden popular base among the band girls, and follows the various hilarious adventures of the mini-versions of the bands' members. The first season aired from July to December 2018 with 26 episodes. The second season, "Ohmori", aired from May to October 2020, also with 26 episodes, and introduced members from Morfonica and RAISE A SUILEN. The third season, "Fever!", aired from October 2021 to March 2022. The music of the show is also notable, with theme songs performed by the voice actresses of each band, achieving good rankings on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. A manga based on the show, BanG Dream! Garupa Pico Comic Anthology, has also been released.
