"We Never Learn" (Japanese: ぼくたちは勉強ができない), also known as "BokuBen", is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Taishi Tsutsui. The story revolves around Nariyuki Yuiga, a high school student who must tutor three female geniuses in their weak subjects to secure a university scholarship. These geniuses include Fumino Furuhashi, a humanities prodigy but terrible at science, Rizu Ogata, a science whiz who struggles with humanities, and Uruka Takemoto, an athletic star with poor academic performance. As the story progresses, they gradually develop romantic feelings for Nariyuki. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2017 to December 2020, with a total of 21 volumes. It was adapted into an anime series by Studio Silver and Arvo Animation, with the first season airing from April to June 2019, and the second season from October to December of the same year. Additionally, two light novel spin-offs were released in 2019. The series is known for its light-hearted comedy and multiple-ending structure, where the protagonist ends up with one of the five main female characters, creating much discussion among fans.
