Dragon Nest: Warriors` Dawn

Dragon Nest: Warriors' Dawn is a 2014 Chinese animated fantasy-adventure film directed by Song Yuefeng, based on the Dragon Nest video game. Set fifty years before the game's events, it depicts the conflict between humans, elves, and beasts on the land of Altera. While the Black Dragon Karas sleeps, a gem embedded in its chest amasses dark power, uniting the beasts for war. A young adventurer named Lambert and his dogs become embroiled in this conflict and are rescued by famous adventurers Barnac, Geraint, and Argenta. Together with Elven Princess Nerwin and her bodyguard Liya, they battle against the Black Dragon. Throughout the film, Lambert and Liya develop a romance, while Geraint and Argenta hide secrets related to the Dragon Gem. Ultimately, they defeat the Black Dragon Karas, though the dark power is not completely vanquished. The film earned over CN¥0.57 billion at the box office, and a sequel, Dragon Nest 2: Throne of Elves, was released in 2016.
