The story revolves around Chu Xingyun, a fallen young man who is determined to change his situation, strive for self-improvement, and create a new world. In this era full of challenges and opportunities, he will venture across the continent, encounter adventures, and eventually become the supreme heavenly emperor. The animation's plot includes elements such as rare treasures, cultivation techniques, and lost strongholds of powerful figures. Chu Xingyun will confront past enemies, make up for regrets from dreams, and ultimately, when the spirit sword roars, become the supreme being of the three realms. The animation was released in 2019, with main voice actors including Guan Shuai, Sen Zhongren, Zhang Ni, and Zhong Wei. Additionally, a significant female character in "Spirit Sword Sovereign" is Ye Qianhan, one of the female protagonists in Yun Tiankong's novel, the next head of the Jiuhan Palace, and the love interest of Chu Xingyun, with whom she has a daughter, Chu Wuyi. Ye Qianhan has multiple identities in the story, her first life being Ye Qianhan, her second being Hu Li, and her third being Su Liuer. The animation also depicts the challenges Chu Xingyun faces during the Martial Mansion selection and his confrontation with the mysterious assassination sect, Tian Yanmen.
