Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 is the second season of the Japanese anime series adapted from the light novel series of the same name. The story continues the adventures of Rio, who possesses the memories of his past life as a university student named Haruto Amakawa. At the end of the first season, Rio escaped the capital of the Beltrum Kingdom, and the second season begins with him discovering that people from his past life have been summoned to this other world. Rio rescues a small group and takes them under his wing, which includes his childhood friend from his past life, Miharu Ayase. While searching for other summoned individuals and trying to find a way to send them back to Japan, Rio doesn't forget his goal of avenging his murdered mother. The second season is produced by TMS Entertainment and aired from October to December 2024, with 12 episodes. This season continues exploring Rio's growth, battles, and bonds with new and old friends in the other world. The anime combines action, adventure, fantasy, and romance elements, with harem and reincarnation themes.
