The Flame Imperial Guards

"The Flame Imperial Guards" is an action-adventure story set in the Ming Dynasty, featuring the Jinyiwei. The story revolves around Qin Hu, a Jinyiwei, and his companions, who uphold the belief that “the emperor guards the country, the brocade guards the country, the chivalrous bones hide in the rivers and lakes, and a hundred deaths will not leave a name.” They bravely fight against the rebel forces to protect the nation. While investigating a bizarre ghost fire murder case, Qin Hu gradually gets involved in a shocking conspiracy concerning the common people, while also uncovering his own life mystery that has been buried for more than 20 years. Through numerous dangerous investigations, he faces threats from enemies, betrayal from colleagues, and suspicion from his partners, but none of these can shake his determination to pursue justice. The work is presented in both animation and manga formats. The animation consists of 24 episodes and aired from December 31, 2022, to May 24, 2023. The manga version focuses on Qin Hu's choice between personal hatred and world peace.
