Jiaoqiu

Jiaoqiu is a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail, classified as a Fire-type character following the Path of Nihility. He is a foxian physician and strategist from the Xianzhou Yaoqing, who greets people with a smile but is actually quite cunning. Born into a prestigious Alchemy Commission family, he once withdrew from practicing medicine due to a broken heart, but later returned to the field to treat General Feixiao, known as "the Merlin's Claw." Jiaoqiu is skilled in alchemical prescriptions that view food as medicine, particularly spicy foods that induce a sensation of pain, and invented a unique "nine-square grid" cauldron-based medicinal formula. He is not only capable of healing but also skilled in strategy. In battle, Jiaoqiu can inflict the "Burn" status on enemies and use his ultimate to deploy a barrier, increasing the damage they receive and continuously applying the "Burn" effect. His skills and talents focus on effect hit rate, and he can inflict continuous damage with the "Scorched" state. Jiaoqiu is a complex character combining healing, strategy, and control, playing a significant support and damage role within the team.
