Akagi (μ-rigging) is a Sakura Empire SSR aircraft carrier in the game Azur Lane. She is a special version of Akagi, implemented during the "Passionate Polaris" event. Unlike the standard Akagi, Akagi (μ-rigging) appears as a special idol-themed rigging and joins the ranks of experimental "μ-rigging" ships. Her unique skills include a special aerial attack that changes based on the number of "μ-rigging" ships in the fleet, and a skill that shortens her first aerial attack reload time. Akagi (μ-rigging)'s equipment slots are similar to those of a normal aircraft carrier, and it is recommended to pair her with standard fighters, bombers, and torpedo bombers. She can fight independently or in a team with other "μ-rigging" ships to maximize her skill effects. Although she may seem a bit awkward in a Sakura Empire fleet, she has considerable combat potential within specific "μ-rigging" teams. Her assigned instrument is the bass, which reflects her idol-themed setting.
