Trabia - Albatross Archipelago

In Final Fantasy VIII, Trabia is a cold continent located in the northeast of the world map, characterized by its snow-covered landscapes and mountain ranges. This region is home to Trabia Garden, a school that trains future mercenaries, alongside Balamb Garden and Galbadia Garden. Students at Trabia Garden are often orphans who receive training there, sometimes transferring to Balamb Garden to become SeeDs. Despite Trabia Garden's motto being "Take Care of Oneself," the members actually emphasize taking care of each other. The region is also inhabited by the Shumi and Moombas, creating a unique cultural blend. In the game, players explore the ruins of Trabia Garden, which was destroyed by a Galbadian missile attack. Additionally, the Trabia continent includes various locations like snowfields, forests, and mountains, each with unique enemies and challenges, providing players with ample exploration opportunities. Trabia's geography and history play a significant role in the plot of Final Fantasy VIII, particularly in the memories of character Selphie and the rivalry between the Gardens.
