Mobile Type 8(Boss)

Mobile Type 8 is a boss encountered in Final Fantasy VIII, specifically within the Lunatic Pandora. It is a mobile weapons system. If the player boards the Lunatic Pandora with Zell Dincht as the party leader, the party is ejected by Mobile Type 8. However, when boarding with Squall Leonhart as the leader, the party engages in a boss battle against it. This is a significant battle before the point of no return, allowing players to return to the world map for side quests or grinding. Mobile Type 8 fights alongside two support probes, the Left Probe and Right Probe. When connected, attacking it triggers a counterattack; when disconnected, it uses "Corona," reducing party HP to 1. It is weak to Thunder, making Thundaga and summons effective. The "Vit 0" status can weaken its defenses. A Triple Triad card of Mobile Type 8 can be obtained from card games or by using the card command on certain monsters, which can be refined into Shell Stones.
