Portgas·D·Rouge

Portgas D. Rouge is a character in the Japanese manga series One Piece. She is the lover of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger and the mother of Portgas D. Ace. She is a slender woman with long, wavy pink-blonde hair, a pink hibiscus flower in her hair on the left side, and freckles that she passed on to her son. She often wears a long, short-sleeved light blue dress and sandals. Rouge was gentle and kind, and in order to protect her unborn son, Ace, she extended her pregnancy to 20 months through sheer willpower, in order to evade the World Government. However, this extended pregnancy led to her death immediately after giving birth. Although she didn't spend much time with Roger, she loved him deeply, and was devastated when she learned of his execution. To honor his mother's sacrifice, Ace uses her surname, Portgas, to show his respect and remembrance. Rouge’s story exemplifies the magnitude of a mother's love and her sacrifice, and it leaves a significant mark in the world of One Piece.
