Gatz

Gatz is a supporting character in the anime and manga series *One Piece*, first appearing in the Dressrosa Arc. He serves as the announcer at the Corrida Colosseum, sporting the look of a Spartan warrior, with a golden helmet, breastplate, and dark colored skirt, along with long brown hair and a black goatee. As a commentator, he is supposed to be impartial, but he often reveals his personal feelings, such as being shocked and disappointed by Hack's defeat and cheering for Luffy. Gatz admires strength, praising Luffy's competence despite his small stature. He has shown selflessness, promising to confront Doflamingo to buy Luffy time. Despite having to remain unbiased, he has obvious preferences and dislikes towards certain fighters. Once respectful of Doflamingo, he later criticizes him openly and even continues broadcasting after being stabbed by him. Gatz helps Luffy to evade attacks and eventually announces Luffy’s victory over Doflamingo to the citizens of Dressrosa.
