Gloriosa

Gloriosa, also known as "Elder Nyon," is a significant character in One Piece. She is a former empress of Amazon Lily, predating Shakuyaku, Tritoma, and Boa Hancock, and a member of the Kuja Pirates. In her youth, she was a member of the legendary Rocks Pirates. Despite her diminutive size and wrinkled appearance due to old age, she possesses great wisdom and a strong will. She is deeply concerned about the affairs of Amazon Lily and is curious about the outside world. She left Amazon Lily due to "Love Sickness" and lived in the outside world for some time, making her more knowledgeable about the world beyond than other Kuja. She adopted the Boa sisters after they escaped enslavement by the World Nobles, and brought them back to Amazon Lily. Despite her advanced age, Gloriosa remains a powerful fighter, capable of breaking free from Hancock's charms quickly. She holds respect for Luffy and recognizes him as the one Hancock loves.
