Hakurei Reimu

Reimu Hakurei (博麗 霊夢, Hakurei Reimu) is one of the main protagonists of the Touhou Project series. As the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, she is responsible for maintaining the barrier between Gensokyo and the outside world, as well as resolving various incidents. Reimu has a cheerful, somewhat oblivious personality and a strong attachment to money. Although lacking in training, she possesses powerful natural spiritual abilities. She is skilled in using the Yin-Yang Orb and amulets in combat and has the ability to fly. Reimu's interpersonal relationships are complex, ranging from close friendships like with Marisa Kirisame to adversarial-yet-cooperative relationships like with Yukari Yakumo. Despite often being pranked by youkai, she continues to grow and has become an indispensable figure in Gensokyo. Reimu's attire is primarily red and white, with a large red ribbon on her head, making her one of the most iconic characters in the Touhou Project. She's frequently caught up in various incidents but is always able to resolve them using her abilities and intuition. Overall, Reimu Hakurei is a character with a distinct personality, great power, and a sense of humanity.
