YuugenMagan

YuugenMagan is a character from the Touhou Project series, first appearing as the tenth stage boss in the Makai route of the original game, Touhou Highly Responsive to Prayers. While little background information is given in the game, YuugenMagan is memorable for its distinctive appearance: a cluster of five large, independently moving eyes surrounding a humanoid silhouette. The name "YuugenMagan" can be interpreted as "Mystic Evil Eyes" or "Phantom Evil Eyes," with "Magan" being conceptually similar to the "evil eye." In battles, YuugenMagan primarily attacks by firing beams and missiles from its eyes, which alternate between opening and closing, and only the open eyes are vulnerable to attacks. Due to its unusual design and challenging bullet patterns, YuugenMagan holds a unique place among Touhou Project fans, and despite relatively few fan works, it is considered a strong character.
