As the final boss of the Makai route, she is an angel of death encountered by Reimu Hakurei deep within Makai's 'Fallen Shrine.' Sariel has no official profile and exchanges no dialogue with Reimu, leaving very little information about her. Her gender is unknown, like most characters in *Highly Responsive to Prayers*. In *Highly Responsive to Prayers*, Sariel appears as a ghost-like angel with white knee-length hair, wearing a blue robe with six wings. She also has a second form, which is a silhouette with a black hole-like center. She is speculated to be related to Shinki, the creator of Makai, and is often paired with other old-era characters like Elis and Mima in fan works.
