Kana Anaberal

Kana Anaberal (カナ・アナベラル) is a character in the Touhou Project series, first appearing in *Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream*. She is a poltergeist created from a mentally unstable girl, and originally haunted an unnamed mansion. As the mansion's owner grew accustomed to her presence and no longer feared her, Kana decided to seek a new place to reside. In the story of *Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream*, she participates in battles to find a new home and eventually chooses to reside at the Hakurei Shrine. Kana is typically depicted wearing a blue and white maid uniform with a white apron, a red ribbon, and a wide-brimmed hat with a red ribbon. She has blonde hair and yellow eyes. Her name is suggested to be a pun on Cape Canaveral. Her abilities include flight, acrobatics, danmaku attacks, spirit manipulation, and magic. While she is a playable character in the game, her backstory and relationships with other characters provide rich material for fan creations.
