Layla Prismriver

Layla Prismriver (レイラ・プリズムリバー) is a character in the Touhou Project series, though she does not appear directly in the games. She is the creator of the Prismriver Sisters. According to the lore, Layla was the fourth daughter of the Prismriver family, whose father was a wealthy merchant and count. After a tragic accident that led to the death of her family, Layla, unable to leave their memory-filled mansion, used a power to create poltergeists resembling her older sisters. She then vanished with the mansion and the poltergeists. Eventually, the mansion was transported to Gensokyo, becoming the residence of the three poltergeist sisters. Although Layla does not appear in the games directly, her backstory is essential to understanding the origin of the Prismriver Sisters. While she doesn't have an official portrait, fans often depict her as a girl with long, wavy green hair, wearing a purple dress, bearing the characteristic traits of the Prismriver Sisters.
