Inubashiri Momizi

Momiji Inubashiri is a white wolf tengu from the Touhou Project series. Her duty is to patrol Youkai Mountain, using her excellent sense of sight and smell to quickly detect intruders. Her main task is to stop intruders and report those she can't handle to the Great Tengu. Momiji has a serious and responsible personality and faithfully executes her duties. In her free time, she plays dai shogi with the nearby kappa. She possesses the ability to 'see a thousand ri ahead,' allowing her to quickly notice distant anomalies. In Mountain of Faith, she appears as the mid-boss of stage 4. She isn't always depicted with wolf ears, which leads to some variations in her appearance across different works. Her design might be a reference to Chinese tengu figures. Despite rarely encountering events requiring her intervention, Momiji remains loyal to her duties and strives to maintain order on Youkai Mountain.
