Komeiji Satori

Satori Komeiji (古明地 さとり) is a character in the Touhou Project series, first appearing as the Stage 4 boss in Subterranean Animism. She is the mistress of the Palace of the Earth Spirits and possesses the ability to read minds. This ability makes her feared by youkai and vengeful spirits, but loved by animals that cannot speak. As a result, her residence, the Palace of the Earth Spirits, is filled with animals. Satori dislikes contact with others and lives a secluded life, but in reality, she is quite confident and audacious. She recently took on the main role in the official manga, Foul Detective Satori, revealing a weakness: she becomes physically ill when spending extended periods in places with a lot of drifting thoughts. She's also considered one of the strongest members of the Palace of the Earth Spirits. Her name, "Satori," is homophonous with her species and can also be interpreted as "understanding" or "enlightenment." She has short purple hair, a black hairband, and a red "third eye" on her chest.
