Imaizumi Kagerou

Kagerou Imaizumi is a character from the Touhou Project series, first appearing as the Stage 3 boss in Double Dealing Character. She is a wolf-woman who resides in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, and transforms into a wolf during the full moon. Her name, "Kagerou," means "shadow wolf" and is homophonous with "shimmering heat," a reference to the extinct Honshu wolf. Her surname, "Imaizumi," is a tribute to the Japanese zoologist Yoshinori Imaizumi. Kagerou has dark auburn hair, red eyes, and wolf ears. Her nails are long and claw-like, and she wears a dress inspired by the Hanafuda card for Pampas Grass and the Full Moon. Despite being a werewolf, she has a calm demeanor and dislikes the amount of hair she grows during full moons, preferring to keep her skin hidden. In gameplay, she utilizes various wolf-themed spell cards, capable of high-speed movement and roaring attacks. She has a connection to Wakasagihime, another resident of the Bamboo Forest, and once tried to eat her by mistake.
