Eternity Larva

Eternity Larva (エタニティラルバ) is a fairy character in the Touhou Project series, first appearing as the Stage 1 boss in Touhou 16: Hidden Star in Four Seasons. She embodies the growth, rebirth, and metamorphosis of insects, specifically based on a swallowtail butterfly, representing not only the adult form but also larvae and pupae. Eternity Larva has the ability to scatter scales, using them as projectiles in danmaku patterns and also as smokescreens. She is known for her gentle personality, often heading to battles to play with power-up items in hand. However, she can also enter a berserk state, where her powers increase significantly. It's speculated that she might be related to the ancient Japanese Tokoyo god, believed to be a swallowtail caterpillar. Eternity Larva has peach-colored eyes and short light blue hair, large black and yellow wings with blue and purple spots, and a two-pronged yellow osmeterium on her head. She wears a black shirt with swallowtail-inspired sleeves and a green leaf covering her torso. During the events of Hidden Star in Four Seasons, she goes berserk like other fairies but is defeated by the heroine. Later, in Visionary Fairies in Shrine, she assists in the fight against Okina Matara, using her power to restore frozen fairies.
